A healthy weight loss diet allows for a person to intake all food in moderation. One of the reasons why some diets fail is because they are too restrictive. Once we are told we can't have something, we want it even more. If a diet allows people to eat what they want, they are less likely to binge on the so-called forbidden foods. Choosing a healthy weight loss diet is the key to safely and effectively lose weight. Steer clear of the diets that ask you to eat one food item or foods within one food group for weeks at a time. You will lose weight quickly but the plan is unsustainable. It is unlikely that you will want to eat cabbage soup for the rest of your life (unless of course, you really like cabbages).
